CAPF1824C6 Goodman 1.5 to 2 Ton, W 21 x D 21 x H 22, Cased Evaporator Coil

The Goodman CAPF Cased Upflow/Downflow Indoor Coils are made for split system air conditioners and heat pumps. The coil’s cabinet is painted Architectural Gray. This evaporator coil operates with an air conditioner or heat pump of two different tonnages, the evaporator coil comes factory equipped with an orifice (Flowrater) for the small listed tonnage. If you are matching the evaporator with an air conditioner or heat pump of the higher tonnage, the Flowrater of that tonnage will need to be used. If a new Goodman air conditioner or heat pump is purchased together with the evaporator coil, the correct Flowrater will be provided with that unit.

Note: Evaporator coils should be examined thoroghly for any signs of leaks that might of occour during shipping. The coils are pre-charge with dry nitrogen and is capped for quality control and shipping purposes. When removing the caps listen to the hessing sound cause by the escaping of the nitrogen. Please ensure the coils are not defected or has leaks before installing.

Note: Do not use these coils on oil furnaces or any applications where the temperature on the drain pan may exceed 300 deF. If you are going to use these coils on these applications, the factory installed drain pan must be replaced with a high temperature drain pan kits available as a field installed option.
