This package was designed with the do-it-yourself person in mind. They include everything needed to install a geothermal closed loop vertical ground system. The only thing you have to do is dig the trenches for the piping to be laid in.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is now providing Consumers with a tax credit on geothermal heat pumps equipment for up to 30%. If placed in service after December 31, 2008 and before January 1, 2011 in a homeowner’s primary residence.

Electric Heat (Optional) – Integral electric heat coil provides supplemental or emergency heat when conditions require.

Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM-Optional) – ECM motor provides quiet, efficient operation while maintaining constant CFM over its static operating range. Factory programmed for 3-speeds.

Desuperheater (Optional) – Saves energy by producing domestic hot water using a small heat exchanger and water pump located in the compressor compartment. Superheated refrigerant gas from the compressor, which would otherwise be wasted, is used to heat water. This reduces the amount of additional energy required to heat water and it may eliminate the requirement for separate water heating equipment.
